Jobs's Cause of Death Revealed

The co-founder of Apple Inc died from respiratory arrest last Wednesday


Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Inc, died of “respiratory arrest” with “metastatic pancreas neuroendocrine tumour” as the underlying condition, according to his death certificate.

Steve Jobs, who died last Wednesday at his home in Palo Alto in California, had battled cancer for several years before his death at the age of 56.

According to his death certificate Jobs died at about 15:00 with the immediate cause of death being listed as “respiratory arrest” with “metastatic pancreas neuroendocrine tumour” as the underlying condition resulting in his respiratory problem.

There was no autopsy conducted and he was buried on Friday in a nondenominational cemetery in Palo Alto.

Jobs’s death certificate states that he was an “entrepreneur” in the high tech industry with “some college” education. The certificate was released by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department.

An unsanctioned mass movement, encouraging people to wear black on Friday October 14 in Jobs’s honour, has begun on the internet dubbed Steve Jobs Day.
