According to the latest FNB House Price Index
House prices have reached their highest year-on-year growth rate since June 2010, according to data released by First National Bank (FNB) on Monday.
FNB property strategist John Loos said house prices in March marked the highest year-on-year growth rate since mid-2010.
“The FNB House Price Index showed a further slight acceleration in March, up from a revised February growth rate of 7.1% to 8% year-on-year,” he said.
In comparison the February House Price Index showed an increase of just 0.9% year-on-year, he added.
