CC Residential Sales Surge

| News by Staff Reporter

Residential sales at Century City have totalled over R60m since July 1

A strong increase has been recorded in residential sales at Century City, Cape Town, since 1 July 2011, said Brian Usher, sales manager of on-site agents Property World.

This is according to an article by Cape Business News, who said residential sales at Century City since 1 July had totalled more than R60,8-million, including 26 developer sites at R43,8million and 12 resales at a total of just under R17-million.

According to Brian Usher a lot of the stock during this period had been sold to developers, with the result that Waterstone East (comprising 112 apartments and 13 townhouses), Waterstone West (comprising 70 apartments) and Manhattan Towers (comprising 54 apartments) were now completely sold out.

“There are now only two opportunities remaining in the second and final phase of Waterstone Ilses where 27 plot and plan homes have been sold to date for a total of more than R100-million,” said Usher.

“In addition only five of the 12 units in Manhattan Wharfside remain to be sold with sales to date topping R13-milion.

“And last – only 8 of the 41 apartments in Little Moorings, Rabie’s most recent residential development at Century City – remain to be sold. The total value of the units sold there to date exceeds R37,5-million,” according to Usher.

He added that an exciting new water-fronting development was close to finalisation and would be announced within the next few weeks.
